This massive green-striped flip (13" wide and almost 7" high) has no maker's marks of any kind, either on the lid or bowl. It would have been made for hotel buffet or bar service, as a cheese and cracker bowl, because it has a molded-in center divider.

The 1911 L. Barth and Co. catalog, below, shows a similar flip to this, in red, but its lid has three sections and much grander pulls – and, of course, the addition of the handle.

It is curious that for its extravagant size, its lid looks so economy class!
