The company moved to Weehawken in 1923, and moved again in the 70s? The mystery may be solved as to the manufacturer of these striped Blickman bowls. Here's a back stamp that carries the Blickman name (faintly) plus Hall: |

 4 1/2 " x 3 1/8 " Badly deteriorated deep green stripe has two metallic gold pinstripes. Backstamp by Blickman, but this one is different from the one above and would indicate a post-1923 date:  |

4 1/2 " x 3 1/8 " Bold red stripe has two metallic gold pinstripes -- the small version of the red one above. Backstamp by Blickman, but this one has yet another backstamp. Based on the company history, this piece would be pre-1923:  |

5 3/4" x 3 5/8" Mystery backstamp that looks ever so faintly like it could be S. Blickman, as above:  This one has also been identified as manufactured by Hall China, based on the ever-so-faint backstamp that a true Hall devotee could identify. (Thanks, Bill!) |

5 5/8" x 3 5/8" Flow blue. This came from an estate in New Hampshire. The top appears to be handmade, and the rim is soldered together rather than manufactured as one piece. Inside detail:  |

Dimensions: 6" x 3 7/8" Nothing is known about this piece. It is unmarked and crazed. The surface design appears to be either hand painted or transfer ware. Either way, it strongly suggests an English provenance.  |
